A. Inspection
(1) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT to do the inspection.
(2) Do a special detailed inspection of the internal surface of the stringer coupling for damage or discontinuities NTM 533191. Do this inspection at forward and aft frame 47, from left and right stringers 10 to the crown centerline.
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-31-00-914-052-A (1) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT to do the inspection.
(2) Do a special detailed inspection of the internal surface of the stringer coupling for damage or discontinuities NTM 533191. Do this inspection at forward and aft frame 47, from left and right stringers 10 to the crown centerline.
NOTE: The stringer coupling lengths are different. Thus the number of stringer coupling rivets can increase or decrease. It is necessary to inspect the stringer coupling surface around all the rivet heads.
(3) Refer to the NTM inspection report and do the applicable step: (a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
