A. Get Access
   (1) Open the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (2) Remove the wing-to-fuselage access panels 191BB, 191EB, 192EB and 192FB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Areas
   (1) Make sure that the inspection areas are sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
   (2) If necessary, clean the inspection area with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Make sure that the inspection areas are dry before you continue.
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-31-00-220-070-A
A. Detailed Inspection
   (1) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT and/or the MIRROR - INSPECTION to do the detailed inspection.
   (2) Do a detailed inspection of the lower part of the vertical struts (200 mm from the bottom) on the aft face of the pressure bulkhead at Y= +/-765 mm (2 places).
     (a) For A320, A319 and A318, do this at FR35. Look for:
  • Cracks
  • Corrosion.
     (b) For A321, do this at FR35.8. Look for:
  • Cracks
  • Corrosion.
NOTE: If necessary,refer to the ASRM SRM 533116 for the correct repair procedure.

Subtask 53-31-00-410-123-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Install the wing-to-fuselage access panels 191BB, 191EB, 192EB and 192FB (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
   (2) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
