Internal Surface of Fuselage Around Rivets and Holes and Attchments to Pressure Bulkhead Frame Between STGR28 and STGR31Subtask 53-31-00-010-125-A
A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the cargo door.
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the forward cargo-compartment partitions 131PW and 132PW, (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(4) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(5) Remove the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-000-001).
(6) Remove the air conditioning ducts (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
Subtask 53-31-00-860-085-A (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position below the cargo door.
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the forward cargo-compartment partitions 131PW and 132PW, (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(4) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(5) Remove the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-000-001).
(6) Remove the air conditioning ducts (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
B. Prepare the Inspection Area
(1) If necessary, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . Make sure the inspection areas are dry before you continue.
(2) Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage or discontinuities.
(3) If necessary, make the surface of the inspection areas smooth with CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 280)
(4) Make sure that the inspection areas are clean and dry before you continue.
(5) Do a visual inspection of the surfaces of the inspection areas. Look for damage and defects in the shape of the surfaces.
(6) If you find damage:
(a) Refer to ASRM SRM 511100 for the classification of the damage.
(b) If you find corrosion damage:

A. Special Detailed Inspection Procedure
(1) Do the special detailed inspection (HFEC) of the forward face to the pressure bulkhead attachments. Do this at FR35 around rivets and holes between STGR28 and STGR31 LH/RH NTM 533186.
(2) Make a report of damage during the inspection procedure.
(a) Refer to the ASRM SRM 511100 for the classification of the damage.
(b) If you find corrosion damage:
Subtask 53-31-00-220-069-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do the special detailed inspection (HFEC) of the forward face to the pressure bulkhead attachments. Do this at FR35 around rivets and holes between STGR28 and STGR31 LH/RH NTM 533186.
(2) Make a report of damage during the inspection procedure.
(a) Refer to the ASRM SRM 511100 for the classification of the damage.
(b) If you find corrosion damage:
- Refer to ASRM SRM 512200 for the general corrosion data
- Refer to ASRM SRM 51740000 for the repair of the corroded areas.
- Refer to ASRM SRM 51730000 for the repair of the minor damage
- Refer to ASRM SRM 53311101 for the allowable damage limits for this structure
- Refer to ASRM SRM 53311102 for the repair data for this structure.
A. Special Detailed Inspection Procedure
(1) Do the special detailed inspection (HFEC) of the forward face to the pressure bulkhead attachments. Do this at FR35.8 around rivets and holes between STGR28 and STGR31 LH/RH NTM 533186.
(2) Make a report of damage during the inspection procedure.
(a) Refer to ASRM SRM 511100 for the classification of the damage.
(b) If you find corrosion damage:
5. Close-up(1) Do the special detailed inspection (HFEC) of the forward face to the pressure bulkhead attachments. Do this at FR35.8 around rivets and holes between STGR28 and STGR31 LH/RH NTM 533186.
(2) Make a report of damage during the inspection procedure.
(a) Refer to ASRM SRM 511100 for the classification of the damage.
(b) If you find corrosion damage:
- Refer to ASRM SRM 512200 for the general corrosion data
- Refer to ASRM SRM 517400 for the repair of the corroded areas.
- Refer to ASRM SRM 517300 for the repair of the minor damage
- Refer to ASRM SRM 533111 for the allowable damage limits for this structure
- Refer to ASRM SRM 533111 for the repair data for this structure.
Subtask 53-31-00-370-062-A
A. Repair of the Surface Protection
(1) If necessary, repair the paint coating in the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-003) or (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-001).
Subtask 53-31-00-410-122-A (1) If necessary, repair the paint coating in the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-003) or (Ref. AMM TASK 51-75-12-300-001).
B. Close Access
(1) Install the air conditioning ducts (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(2) Install the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-400-001).
(3) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(4) Install the forwrd cargo-compartment partitions 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(5) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
(7) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Install the air conditioning ducts (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(2) Install the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-400-001).
(3) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(4) Install the forwrd cargo-compartment partitions 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(5) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
(7) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
