Inspection Area (ROTO) of the Pressure Deck Membrane from the Upper Surface to the Center Wing Box at FR36Subtask 53-31-00-010-123-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 825.
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(3) Remove partition panels 131NW, 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(4) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(5) Remove the necessary cabin air supply-ducts installed above the floor structure between FR35 and FR36 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
(6) Remove the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-000-001).
Subtask 53-31-00-010-123-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 825.
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(3) Remove partition panels 131NW, 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(4) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(5) Remove the necessary cabin air supply-ducts installed above the floor structure between FR35 and FR36 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
(6) Remove the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-000-001).
A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 825.
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(3) Remove the potable water tank (3000 MM) (Ref. AMM TASK 38-11-41-000-001).
(4) Remove partition panels 131NW, 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(5) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(6) Remove the necessary cabin air supply-ducts installed above the floor structure between FR35 and FR36 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
(7) Remove the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-000-001).
Subtask 53-31-00-110-151-A (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 825.
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-003).
(3) Remove the potable water tank (3000 MM) (Ref. AMM TASK 38-11-41-000-001).
(4) Remove partition panels 131NW, 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(5) Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(6) Remove the necessary cabin air supply-ducts installed above the floor structure between FR35 and FR36 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
(7) Remove the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-000-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the fasteners from the aluminum angle at FR36 to examine the holes ( SRM 514200).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the fasteners from the aluminum angle at FR36 to examine the holes ( SRM 514200).
NOTE: The removal of the fasteners is applicable only to the ROTO test inspection.
Subtask 53-31-00-220-068-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do the special detailed inspection (LFEC and ROTO) from the upper surface of the pressure deck membrane to the center wing box for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 533185.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-31-00-420-056-A (1) Do the special detailed inspection (LFEC and ROTO) from the upper surface of the pressure deck membrane to the center wing box for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 533185.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Installation of the Fasteners
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners on the aluminum angle at FR36 in the examined holes ( SRM 514200).
5. Close-up(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners on the aluminum angle at FR36 in the examined holes ( SRM 514200).
NOTE: The installation of the fasteners is applicable only to the ROTO test inspection.
Subtask 53-31-00-410-120-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-400-001).
(4) Install the cabin air supply-ducts that you removed from the floor structure between FR35 and FR36 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(5) Install forward cargo-compartment partitions 131NW, 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(6) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
(8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
Subtask 53-31-00-410-120-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-400-001).
(4) Install the cabin air supply-ducts that you removed from the floor structure between FR35 and FR36 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(5) Install forward cargo-compartment partitions 131NW, 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(6) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
(8) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-400-001).
(4) Install the cabin air supply-ducts that you removed from the floor structure between FR35 and FR36 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(5) Install forward cargo-compartment partitions 131NW, 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(6) Install the potable water tank (3000 MM) (Ref. AMM TASK 38-11-41-400-002).
(7) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(8) Remove the access platform(s).
(9) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the recirculation filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-21-41-400-001).
(4) Install the cabin air supply-ducts that you removed from the floor structure between FR35 and FR36 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(5) Install forward cargo-compartment partitions 131NW, 131PW and 132PW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(6) Install the potable water tank (3000 MM) (Ref. AMM TASK 38-11-41-400-002).
(7) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-004).
(8) Remove the access platform(s).
(9) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
