(1) If necessary, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) . Make sure that the area is dry before you continue. Clean the areas around the rivets and elliptical cutouts in Area 'A' and 'B' as identified in Figure 1, Sheets 1 and 2. A. Cleaning Procedure

(1) Do the special detailed inspection (HFEC) of Area 'A' around the rivets of the keel beam side-panel NTM 533002. Do this below the center wing box at STGR42 LH/RH between FR40 and FR42. Examine the areas around the rivets and the elliptical cutout forward of FR41 for cracks with a MAGNIFYING GLASS POWER 10X. If necessary, use more lighting sources and mirrors.
(2) If you find any crack, repair the area 'A'as per COA 405851 (LH) or COA 405852 (RH) SRM 53312902.

Inspection Areas of the Riveted Area of Keel Beam Side Panel at Attachment to Center Wing Box ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(1) Do the special detailed inspection (HFEC) of Area 'A' around the rivets of the keel beam side-panel. Do this below the center wing box at STGR42 LH/RH between FR40 and FR42. Examine the areas around the rivets and the elliptical cutout forward of FR41 for cracks with a MAGNIFYING GLASS POWER 10X. If necessary, use more lighting sources and mirrors NTM 533002.
(a) If you find single crack:
1 If the crack length is less than 15 mm (0.5906 in.):
a Repair the Area 'A' before 1,700 FC or 3,800 FH, which occurs first SRM 53312902. After the repair in Area 'A', examine Area 'B' (Ref. AMM TASK 53-31-00-210-044).
2 If the crack length is between 15 mm (0.5906 in.) and 20 mm (0.7874 in.):
a Repair the Area 'A' before 860 FC or 1,800 FH, which occurs first SRM 53312902. After the repair in Area A, examine the Area 'B' (Ref. AMM TASK 53-31-00-210-044).
3 If the crack length is more than 20 mm (0.7874 in.) or if there are many cracks:
a Repair the Area 'A' before subsequent flight SRM 53312302. After the repair in Area A, examine the Area 'B' again (Ref. AMM TASK 53-31-00-210-044).
