A. Get Access
(1) Remove floor panels 241JF 241KF 241LF 241MF 242KF 242LF and 242MF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-000-801).
(2) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(3) Remove the necessary cabin air supply ducts installed below the floor structure between FR42 and FR46 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
Subtask 53-31-00-110-132-A (1) Remove floor panels 241JF 241KF 241LF 241MF 242KF 242LF and 242MF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-000-801).
(2) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(3) Remove the necessary cabin air supply ducts installed below the floor structure between FR42 and FR46 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that the inspection areas are dry before you continue.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that the inspection areas are dry before you continue.
Subtask 53-31-00-210-054-A
A. Detailed Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the pressure deck membranes (upper surfaces) and the side boxes with the connections to the longitudinal beams and support ribs from FR42 thru FR46 for cracks.
5. Close-up(1) Do a detailed inspection of the pressure deck membranes (upper surfaces) and the side boxes with the connections to the longitudinal beams and support ribs from FR42 thru FR46 for cracks.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the ASRM SRM 53311400 and SRM 53312900 for the correct repair procedures.
Subtask 53-31-00-410-054-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the cabin air supply ducts removed to gain access to the floor structure between FR42 and FR46 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(3) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(4) Install floor panels 241JF 241KF 241LF 241MF 242KF 242LF and 242MF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-400-801).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the cabin air supply ducts removed to gain access to the floor structure between FR42 and FR46 (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(3) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(4) Install floor panels 241JF 241KF 241LF 241MF 242KF 242LF and 242MF (Ref. AMM TASK 53-00-00-400-801).
(5) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
