A. Get Access
   (1) Open the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (2) Depressurize the Green, Blue and Yellow hydraulic systems (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-001), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-002), (Ref. AMM TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
   (3) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flight controls.
   (4) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (5) Remove the access panels 191ET 193AT 192ET 194AT (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the outboard face of the MLG bay side-panels with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Petroleum Based - (Material No.08BBB1) and a clean lint-free cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Make sure that the inspection areas are dry before you continue.

Subtask 53-31-00-210-053-A
A. Detailed Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the outboard face of the MLG bay side-panels between FR42 thru FR47 and from STGR26 thru STGR36. Look for cracks.
NOTE: If necessary, refer to the ASRM SRM 53312900 for the correct repair procedure.

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the access panels 191ET 193AT 192ET 194AT (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-11-400-001).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
   (4) Close the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
   (5) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (6) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
