A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the forward cargo-compartment door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).

B. Cleaning Procedure
   (1) Remove all the remaining sealant from the floor panel with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
   (2) Clean the component interface and the adjacent area with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (4) Do the inspection of the floor panel (Ref. AMM TASK 25-50-00-200-002).
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-22-14-420-053-A
A. Installation of the Floor Panel Seal
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Cut the seal (2) to the necessary length and as a continuous piece.
   (3) Clean the seal (2) to remove dust and dirt.
   (4) Put the seal (2) in position.
   (5) Make sure that the seal (2) is flush with the surfaces of the adjacent floor panel (1).
   (6) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) on the holes at the end of the seal (2) at a minimum distance of 40 mm (1.5748 in.) from the edge of the seal.
   (7) Make sure that all the seal intersections are flush with each other.
   (8) If you removed the adjacent floor panel (1), install it (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-400-001).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the forward cargo-compartment door (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

   (1) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
