Attachment Areas to the Cabin Floor Beams from FR25 to FR34 (Left Side) and between from FR29 to FR34 (Right Side)Subtask 53-21-00-010-161-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 131 (132).
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the applicable cargo ceiling panels between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(4) Remove the applicable cargo sidewall panels between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(5) Remove the applicable insulation blankets between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(6) Remove the applicable air-conditioning distribution duct between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-110-179-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 131 (132).
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the applicable cargo ceiling panels between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(4) Remove the applicable cargo sidewall panels between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(5) Remove the applicable insulation blankets between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(6) Remove the applicable air-conditioning distribution duct between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(4) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(4) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
Subtask 53-21-00-270-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection (US) of the attachment areas to the cabin floor beams, internal structure. Do this inspection between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side), for damage or discontinuities NTM 532104.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-910-070-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a special detailed inspection (US) of the attachment areas to the cabin floor beams, internal structure. Do this inspection between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side), for damage or discontinuities NTM 532104.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.
Subtask 53-21-00-916-096-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.
C. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-410-154-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed air-conditioning distribution duct between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(3) Install the removed insulation blankets between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(4) Install the removed cargo sidewall panels between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(5) Install the removed cargo ceiling panels between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(6) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed air-conditioning distribution duct between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(3) Install the removed insulation blankets between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(4) Install the removed cargo sidewall panels between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(5) Install the removed cargo ceiling panels between FR25 and FR34 (on the left side) and between FR29 and FR34 (on the right side) (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(6) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
