3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-21-00-010-160-A

A. Get Access
(1) Remove the applicable lower sidewall panels between FR25 and FR34 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
(2) Remove the applicable insulation blankets between FR25 and FR34 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(4) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes SRM 514200.

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-250-083-A

A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the frame splicing between stringer 18 and stringer 20 for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection between FR25 and FR34 on the left and right sides NTM 532206.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Installation of the Fasteners
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes SRM 514200.

C. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-153-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets between FR25 and FR34 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the removed lower sidewall panels between FR25 and FR34 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-400-001).
