Frame Splicing at Stringer 30 from FR35 to FR35.7, Left and Right SidesSubtask 53-21-00-010-158-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 131 (132).
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the applicable sidewall panels between FR35 and FR35.5 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(4) Remove the applicable partition panels at FR35.5 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(5) Remove the applicable insulation blankets between FR35 and FR35.7 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-110-176-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 131 (132).
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the applicable sidewall panels between FR35 and FR35.5 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(4) Remove the applicable partition panels at FR35.5 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(5) Remove the applicable insulation blankets between FR35 and FR35.7 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(4) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes ( SRM 514200).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(4) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes ( SRM 514200).
Subtask 53-21-00-250-081-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the frame splicing at stringer 30 from FR35 to FR35.7 (left and right sides) for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 532207.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-420-086-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the frame splicing at stringer 30 from FR35 to FR35.7 (left and right sides) for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 532207.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):

B. Installation of the Fasteners
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes ( SRM 514200).

C. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant ( SRM 512400) or paint ( SRM 512300) on the inspection area.

Subtask 53-21-00-410-151-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets between FR35 and FR35.7 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the removed partition panels at FR35.5 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(4) Install the removed sidewall panels between FR35 and FR35.5 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(5) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets between FR35 and FR35.7 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the removed partition panels at FR35.5 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(4) Install the removed sidewall panels between FR35 and FR35.5 (Ref. AMM D/O 06-41-53-00) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(5) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
