A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 833(843).
(2) Open emergency exit door 833( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Remove the applicable door frame linings at frames 35.1 and 35.2A to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).
(4) Remove the applicable insulation blankets at frames 35.1 and 35.2A to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-110-175-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 833(843).
(2) Open emergency exit door 833( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Remove the applicable door frame linings at frames 35.1 and 35.2A to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).
(4) Remove the applicable insulation blankets at frames 35.1 and 35.2A to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If the inspection area is not sufficiently clean, clean it with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If sealant or paint is applied on the inspection area:
(a) Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(b) Remove the paint.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If the inspection area is not sufficiently clean, clean it with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If sealant or paint is applied on the inspection area:
(a) Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
(b) Remove the paint.
Subtask 53-21-00-250-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the fuselage internal and external parts of the structure, frame and skin at frames 35.1 and 35.2A. Do this inspection between left stringers 9 and 11 and between right stringers 12 and 14 for damage or discontinuities NTM 532107.
(2) Refer to the NTM inspection report and do the applicable step:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-910-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the fuselage internal and external parts of the structure, frame and skin at frames 35.1 and 35.2A. Do this inspection between left stringers 9 and 11 and between right stringers 12 and 14 for damage or discontinuities NTM 532107.
(2) Refer to the NTM inspection report and do the applicable step:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If you removed the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.
5. Close-up(1) If you removed the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.
Subtask 53-21-00-410-150-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets at frames 35.1 and 35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the removed door frame linings at frames 35.1 and 35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009).
(4) Close emergency exit door 833( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets at frames 35.1 and 35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the removed door frame linings at frames 35.1 and 35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009).
(4) Close emergency exit door 833( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
