3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-21-00-010-133-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 825.
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the necessary cargo floor panels between FR35.0 and FR35.7 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-000-001).
(4) Remove the necessary insulation blankets between FR35.0 and FR35.7 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(4) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(5) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes ( SRM 514200).

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-250-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the junction between the frame and the cargo floor beam. This inspection is applicable at stringer 38, from FR35.0 to FR35.7, left and right sides, for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 532203.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

Subtask 53-21-00-390-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Installation of Fasteners
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes (SRM 514200).

Subtask 53-21-00-910-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

C. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant ( SRM 512400) or paint ( SRM 512300) on the inspection area.

Subtask 53-21-00-916-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

D. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

NOTE: If, after the check of the condition and integrity, the TPS layer is in the correct condition, Airbus recommends that you apply a new layer as a spray on the existing layer. This is to make sure that the TPS layer continues to give satisfactory corrosion protection.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-127-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets between FR35.0 and FR35.7 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the removed cargo floor panels between FR35.0 and FR35.7 (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-400-001).
(4) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
