3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-21-00-010-132-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 825.
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the necessary forward cargo-compartment floor-panels between FR25 and FR34 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-000-001).
(4) Remove the air-conditioning distribution duct in front of the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
(5) Remove the necessary insulation blankets between FR25 and FR34 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary to do the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) procedure.

C. Removal of Components
(1) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes. Refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 514200).

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-250-065-A

A. Inspection

Left Frame Splices at Stringer 35, from FR25 to FR34

(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the left frame splices at stringer 35, from FR25 to FR34, for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 532155.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Installation of Fasteners
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes SRM 514200.

Subtask 53-21-00-910-052-A

C. Sealant or paint application
(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant ( SRM 512400) or paint ( SRM 512300) on the inspection area.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-126-A

A. Close Access
(1) Install the applicable insulation blankets between FR25 and FR34 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(2) Install the air-conditioning distribution duct in front of the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(3) Install the applicable forward cargo-compartment floor-panels between FR25 and FR34 (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-400-001).
(4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(5) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
