3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-21-00-010-125-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 132.
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the necessary sidewall panels at FR35.1 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(4) Remove the necessary floor panels at FR35.1 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-000-001).
(5) If necessary, move the wiring harnesses with their related supports away from the structure but do not disconnect them. This is to get access to the inspection area.
(6) Remove the necessary insulation blankets at FR35.1 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(4) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes. Refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 514200).
(5) Use a FLASHLIGHT and a MIRROR - INSPECTION for the inspection, if necessary.

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-250-062-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection

Holes below the Slidebox and the Triform Fitting at FR35.1, between Stringer 29 and Stringer 33, Left and Right Sides ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the fastener holes at FR35.1 below the slidebox and the triform fitting for damage or discontinuities. This inspection is applicable between stringer 29 and stringer 33 on the left and right sides. Refer to the Non-destructive Testing Manual ( NTM 532199).
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:

If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.

(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):

If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Installation of the Components
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes. Refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 514200).

Subtask 53-21-00-390-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

C. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant (refer to SRM 512400) or paint (refer to SRM 512300) on the inspection area.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-119-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets at FR35.1 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) If moved away, put the wiring harnesses with their related supports in their correct position on the structure.
(4) Install the floor panels at FR35.1 (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-14-400-001).
(5) Install the sidewall panels at FR35.1 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(6) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
