3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-21-00-010-124-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 132.
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the necessary sidewall panels between FR35.4 and FR35.5 to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(4) Remove the necessary ceiling panels between FR35.4 and FR35.5 to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(5) Remove the necessary forward cargo-compartment partitions at FR35.5 to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-001).
(6) Remove the applicable air-conditioning distribution ducts between FR35.4 and FR35.7 to get access to the inspection areas, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-010-001).
(7) Remove the necessary insulation blankets between FR35.4 and FR35.7 to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes. Refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 514200).
(2) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(3) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) Use a FLASHLIGHT for the inspection, if necessary.

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-250-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection

Attachment Area of the Frames and the Cabin Floor Beams, FR35.4 to FR35.7, LH/RH ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the attachment area of the frames and the cabin floor beams for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection on the internal structure between FR35.4 and FR35.7, on the left and right sides. Refer to the Non-destructive Testing Manual ( NTM 532106).
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:

If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.

(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):

If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-420-061-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Installation of the Components
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes. Refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 514200).

Subtask 53-21-00-410-118-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets between FR35.4 and FR35.7 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the air-conditioning distribution ducts between FR35.4 and FR35.7, if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 21-20-00-410-001).
(4) Install the necessary forward cargo-compartment partitions at FR35.5 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-001).
(5) Install the necessary ceiling panels between FR35.4 and FR35.5 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(6) Install the sidewall panels between FR35.4 and FR35.5 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(7) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(8) Remove the access platform(s).
