BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
CAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY TEMPORARY PROTECTION ON THE OXYGEN SYSTEMS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE TEMPORARY PROTECTION DOES NOT GET:
1. Reason for the Job- ON COMPOSITE PARTS, CONTROL CABLES, PULLEYS,TEFLON BEARINGS.
- ON LUBRICATED SURFACES.
- IN DRAIN VALVES OR OTHER ORIFICES.

Subtask 53-21-00-010-163-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Remove the galleys and the lavatories between FR24 and FR35.8, if installed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA25 description and operation:
(2) Remove the cabin floor panels between FR24 and FR 35.8 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM D/O 53-22-13-00).
(3) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT and the MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE to do this inspection.
Subtask 53-21-00-110-181-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the galleys and the lavatories between FR24 and FR35.8, if installed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA25 description and operation:
- For the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00) and (Ref. AMM D/O 25-32-00-00)
- For the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00) and (Ref. AMM D/O 25-42-00-00).
(2) Remove the cabin floor panels between FR24 and FR 35.8 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM D/O 53-22-13-00).
(3) If necessary, use the FLASHLIGHT and the MIRROR - INSPECTION, FLEXIBLE to do this inspection.
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-220-119-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the cabin floor structure (below and 0.5 m (1.64 ft.) around the galleys and the lavatories, if installed) for damage or discontinuities. Do this between FR24 and FR35.8.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-916-098-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Do a detailed inspection of the cabin floor structure (below and 0.5 m (1.64 ft.) around the galleys and the lavatories, if installed) for damage or discontinuities. Do this between FR24 and FR35.8.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If you removed the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and the integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If you removed the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and the integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Soft Film - (Material No.12ACC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) and Corrosion Preventive Compound-Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ACB1) (Ref. A. Close Access
(1) Install the cabin floor panels between FR24 and FR35.8 (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-12-400-001).
(2) Install the galleys and the lavatories between FR24 and FR35.8, if removed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA25 description and operation:
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(1) Install the cabin floor panels between FR24 and FR35.8 (Ref. AMM TASK 53-22-12-400-001).
(2) Install the galleys and the lavatories between FR24 and FR35.8, if removed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA25 description and operation:
- For the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00) and (Ref. AMM D/O 25-32-00-00)
- For the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00) and (Ref. AMM D/O 25-42-00-00).
