3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-21-00-010-156-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
   (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 833( 843).
   (2) Open emergency exit door 833( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
   (3) Remove the applicable door frame linings at frames 35.1 and 35.2A to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).
   (4) Remove the applicable insulation blankets at frames 35.1 and 35.2A to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If the inspection area is not sufficiently clean, clean it with the Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-220-117-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the fuselage internal structure at the junction with the door guide fitting for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection at frames 35.1 and 35.2A, on the left and right sides.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-149-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the removed insulation blankets at frames 35.1 and 35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
   (3) Install the removed door frame linings at frames 35.1 and 35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009).
   (4) Close emergency exit door 833( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
   (5) Remove the access platform(s).
