3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-21-00-010-128-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 132.
   (2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
   (3) Remove the necessary sidewall panels between FR35.1 and FR35.2 to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
   (4) Remove the necessary ceiling panels between FR35.1 and FR35.2 to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
   (5) If necessary, move the wiring harnesses with their related supports away from the structure but do not disconnect them. This is to get access to the inspection area.
   (6) Remove the necessary insulation blankets between FR35.1 and FR35.2 to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Make sure that there is no TPS layer and if there is a TPS layer, remove it (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
   (4) Use a FLASHLIGHT for the inspection, if necessary.
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-220-103-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the junction of the cabin floor beams for damage or discontinuities. This inspection is applicable at FR35.1 and FR35.2 on the left and right sides.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
  • If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
  • If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-122-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the insulation blankets between FR35.1 and FR35.2 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
   (3) If moved away, put the wiring harnesses with their related supports in their correct position on the structure.
   (4) Install the ceiling panels between FR35.1 and FR35.2 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
   (5) Install the sidewall panels between FR35.1 and FR35.2 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
   (6) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
   (7) Remove the access platform(s).
