(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 6M (20 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 230.

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

4. Procedure

A. Inspection

Skin Cutout of the Forward Emergency Exit between FR35 and FR35.3 ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a detailed inspection of the external surface of the fuselage skin around the skin cutout of the forward emergency exit between FR35 and FR35.3. This inspection includes the area from stringer 8 to stringer 23 (left and right sides).
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:

If you find corrosion damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.

(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):

If you find this type of damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and related corrective action.

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
