(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 132.
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-220-100-A

A. Inspection

Cutout of the Forward Cargo Door between FR24A and FR28

(1) Do a detailed inspection of the cutout of the forward cargo door. This inspection is applicable on the visual lateral part of FR24A and FR28.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:

If you find corrosion damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.

(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):

If you find other damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.

If you find this type of damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 512300 for general data about paint layers.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-114-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
