A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 825.
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the necessary ceiling panels to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(4) Remove the necessary sidewall panels to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(5) Remove the necessary insulation blankets to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(6) Remove the necessary air conditioning pipes to get access to the inspection areas.
Subtask 53-21-00-020-053-A (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 825.
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the necessary ceiling panels to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(4) Remove the necessary sidewall panels to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-003).
(5) Remove the necessary insulation blankets to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(6) Remove the necessary air conditioning pipes to get access to the inspection areas.
B. Removal of the Components
(1) Remove the fasteners to inspect the holes. Refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 514200)

C. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(2) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(3) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(5) Use a FLASHLIGHT and a MIRROR - INSPECTION for the inspection, if necessary.
4. Procedure(1) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(2) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(3) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(4) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(5) Use a FLASHLIGHT and a MIRROR - INSPECTION for the inspection, if necessary.
Subtask 53-21-00-220-091-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the attachment area of FR25 LH to FR34 LH and FR29 RH to FR34 RH to cabin floor beams, internal structure for damage or discontinuities. Refer to the Non-destructive Testing Manual ( NTM 532104).
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-916-075-A (1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the attachment area of FR25 LH to FR34 LH and FR29 RH to FR34 RH to cabin floor beams, internal structure for damage or discontinuities. Refer to the Non-destructive Testing Manual ( NTM 532104).
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
NOTE: If, after the check of the condition and integrity, the TPS layer is in the correct condition. Airbus recommends that you apply a new layer as a spray on the existing layer. This is to make sure that the TPS layer continues to give satisfactory corrosion protection.
Subtask 53-21-00-390-053-A
A. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant (refer to SRM 512400) or paint (refer to SRM 512300) on the inspection area.

B. Installation of the Components
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes. Refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 514200).

C. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the air conditioning pipes.
(3) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(4) Install the sidewall panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(5) Install the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(6) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the air conditioning pipes.
(3) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(4) Install the sidewall panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-003).
(5) Install the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(6) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(7) Remove the access platform(s).
