Detailed Inspection of FR 35.1 and FR 35.2A Web and Door Stop Intercostals, at Junction Area, between Door Stop No1 and No8 (LH)/No6 (RH), LH/RH

CAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY TEMPORARY PROTECTION SYSTEM (TPS) ON THE INSPECTION AREA. IF YOU APPLY TPS ON THE INSPECTION AREA, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

Subtask 53-21-00-010-080-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of forward emergency-exit door 833 ( 843).
(2) Open forward emergency-exit door 833 ( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Remove the necessary lining panels around the frame of the forward emergency-exit door between FR 35.1 and FR 35.2A to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).
(4) Remove the necessary insulation blankets at FR 35.1 and FR 35.2A to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-110-084-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in front of forward emergency-exit door 833 ( 843).
(2) Open forward emergency-exit door 833 ( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).
(3) Remove the necessary lining panels around the frame of the forward emergency-exit door between FR 35.1 and FR 35.2A to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).
(4) Remove the necessary insulation blankets at FR 35.1 and FR 35.2A to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
B. Cleaning of the Structure
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that there is no Temporary Protection System (TPS) layer and if there is a TPS layer, remove it (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that there is no Temporary Protection System (TPS) layer and if there is a TPS layer, remove it (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-220-077-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the junction area of the web and the door stop intercostals for damage or discontinuities. This inspection is applicable at FR35.1 and FR35.2A (left and right sides). Do this inspection:
- Between door stops No. 1 and No. 8 on the left side
- Between door stops No. 1 and No. 6 on the right side.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up(1) Do a detailed inspection of the junction area of the web and the door stop intercostals for damage or discontinuities. This inspection is applicable at FR35.1 and FR35.2A (left and right sides). Do this inspection:
- Between door stops No. 1 and No. 8 on the left side
- Between door stops No. 1 and No. 6 on the right side.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-410-078-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets at FR35.1 and FR35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the lining panels around the frame of the forward emergency-exit door between FR35.1 and FR35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009).
(4) Close forward emergency-exit door 833 ( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets at FR35.1 and FR35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the lining panels around the frame of the forward emergency-exit door between FR35.1 and FR35.2A (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009).
(4) Close forward emergency-exit door 833 ( 843) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
