Subtask 53-21-00-010-111-A
A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 825.
(2) Open the forward cargo compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the partition panel 132EW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-000-001).
(4) Remove the ceiling panel 131LC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(5) Remove the necessary insulation blankets at FR24 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-110-131-A (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 825.
(2) Open the forward cargo compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3) Remove the partition panel 132EW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-000-001).
(4) Remove the ceiling panel 131LC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(5) Remove the necessary insulation blankets at FR24 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
B. Preparation of Inspection Area
(1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
(2) Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is clean and smooth.
(3) Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage and discontinuities.
(4) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage :
-If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.
4. Procedure(1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
(2) Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is clean and smooth.
(3) Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage and discontinuities.
(4) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage :
-If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-250-055-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the structure at the junction of FR24 with the cabin floor beam. This inspection is applicable at STGR23, right side only. Refer to the Non-destructive Testing manual NTM 532125.
(2) Make a report of damage after NDT inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage :
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the structure at the junction of FR24 with the cabin floor beam. This inspection is applicable at STGR23, right side only. Refer to the Non-destructive Testing manual NTM 532125.
(2) Make a report of damage after NDT inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage :
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-410-105-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the ceiling panel 131LC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(4) Install the partition panel 132EW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-400-001).
(5) Close the forward cargo compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the ceiling panel 131LC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(4) Install the partition panel 132EW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-11-400-001).
(5) Close the forward cargo compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
