A. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 231 (232).
   (2) Open the forward passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
   (3) Remove the linings and the insulation panels between FR24 and FR35 in zone 231 (232) at STGR18:
231GW 231KW, 231NW 231RW, 232GW 232KW, 232NW 232RW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-000-001),
231HW 231LW, 231PW 231SW, 232HW 232LW, 232PW 232SW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-000-001).

B. Cleaning of the Structure
WARNING: OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THIS/THESE MATERIAL/S. USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
   (1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-220-089-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the frame webs at STGR18 for: FR25, FR26, FR27, FR28, FR29, FR30, FR34, left and right sides.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
  • If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for types, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
  • If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51110001 for damage classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-098-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Install the linings and the insulation panels between FR24 and FR35 in zone 231 (232) at STGR18:
231GW 231KW, 231NW 231RW, 232GW 232KW, 232NW 232RW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-44-400-001),
231HW 231LW, 231PW 231SW, 232HW 232LW, 232PW 232SW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-43-400-001).
   (3) Close the forward passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
   (4) Remove the access platform(s).
