A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the zone 833.
(2) Open the forward emergency exit 833 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-002).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If it is not sufficiently clean, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-220-054-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Inspection

Forward Emergency Exit, Upper Corners - External Surface, Left Side ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a detailed inspection of the external structure of the upper corners of the forward emergency-exit skin-cut out for damage or discontinuities. This inspection is applicable on left side.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51110001 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
(c) Paint layer damage:
If you find this type of damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 512300 for general data for paint layers.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the forward emergency exit 833 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
