A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the zone 231(232).
(2) Open the forward emergency exit door 833 ( 843), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-004) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-000-009).

B. Cleaning of the Structure

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.

(1) Clean the inspection area with a Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.

4. Procedure

A. Inspection

Door Stop Fitting, FR35.1 and FR35.2A, Left and Right Sides ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a detailed inspection of the structure of the door stop fittings.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find other damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51110001 for damage classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the door frame linings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-004) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-47-400-009).
(3) Close the forward emergency exit 833 ( 843), (Ref. AMM TASK 52-22-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
