A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in the zone 825.
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).

B. Removal of the Components
(1) Disconnect the actuator from the door structure (Ref. AMM TASK 52-36-18-000-001).
(2) Remove the necessary ceiling panels in the FWD cargo compartment between FR 24 and FR 28, to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).

C. Preparation of the Inspection Area

Cross Beams at FR25, FR26 and FR27

(1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
(2) Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is clean and smooth.
(3) Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage or discontinuities.
(4) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-250-051-A

A. Inspection

Cross Beams at FR25, FR26 and FR27

(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the structure above the forward cargo-compartment door. This inspection is applicable to the inside radius of the cross-beam on the fittings at FR25, FR26 and FR27 NTM 532140.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NDT inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-057-A

A. Installation of the Components
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the ceiling panels in the FWD cargo compartment between FR 24 and FR 28 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(3) Connect the actuator to the door structure (Ref. AMM TASK 52-36-18-400-001).

B. Close Access
(1) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
