WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND SAFETY-LOCKS ARE IN POSITION ON THE LANDING GEAR. THIS WILL PREVENT UNWANTED MOVEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR, AND THUS POSSIBLE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

Fittings at FR25, FR26 and FR27.Subtask 53-21-00-941-066-A
A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in the zone 825
(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).

(2) Open the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
B. Removal of the Components
(1) Disconnect the actuator from the cargo door structure (Ref. AMM TASK 52-36-18-000-001).
(2) Remove the necessary ceiling panels above the actuators to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(3) Remove the cylinder fairings to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-802).
Subtask 53-21-00-110-060-A (1) Disconnect the actuator from the cargo door structure (Ref. AMM TASK 52-36-18-000-001).
(2) Remove the necessary ceiling panels above the actuators to get access to the inspection areas (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
(3) Remove the cylinder fairings to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-802).
C. Cleaning of the Structure
(1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
4. Procedure(1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
Subtask 53-21-00-220-069-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the structure above the forward cargo-compartment door. This inspection is applicable to the inner radius of the cross-beam on the fittings at FR25, FR26 and FR27.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
5. Close-up(1) Do a detailed inspection of the structure above the forward cargo-compartment door. This inspection is applicable to the inner radius of the cross-beam on the fittings at FR25, FR26 and FR27.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- - If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-410-055-A
A. Installation of the components
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the cylinder fairings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-802).
(3) Install the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(4) Connect the actuator to the door structure (Ref. AMM TASK 52-36-18-400-001).
Subtask 53-21-00-942-073-A (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the cylinder fairings (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-802).
(3) Install the ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-400-002).
(4) Connect the actuator to the door structure (Ref. AMM TASK 52-36-18-400-001).
B. Close Access
(1) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
