Subtask 53-21-00-220-066-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the internal structure around the forward cargo-door cutout. This inspection is applicable from FR24 to FR29 and between STGR23 and STGR38 on the right side.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-21-00-916-051-A (1) Do a detailed inspection of the internal structure around the forward cargo-door cutout. This inspection is applicable from FR24 to FR29 and between STGR23 and STGR38 on the right side.

(3) If, before the inspection, there was:
5. Close-upCAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY TEMPORARY PROTECTION ON THE OXYGEN SYSTEMS.
MAKE SURE THAT THE TEMPORARY PROTECTION DOES NOT GET:
(1) If there is a TPS layer, do a check of the condition of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001). - ON COMPOSITE PARTS, CONTROL CABLES, PULLEYS,TEFLON BEARINGS.
- ON LUBRICATED SURFACES.
- IN DRAIN VALVES OR OTHER ORIFICES.
NOTE: Airbus recommends that you always apply a new layer of TPS. This is to make sure that the TPS layer continues to give satisfactory corrosion protection. If, after the check, you think that the TPS layer is in the correct condition, you can apply a new layer as a spray on the existing layer.
(2) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) or Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing Hard Film - (Material No.12ABB1) on the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001). (3) If, before the inspection, there was:
- Removal of the TPS layer
- Or cleaning of the inspection area with high-pressure water, steam, solvents and/or cleaning agents
