(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 132.
(2) Open forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-21-00-220-060-A

A. Inspection

Forward Cargo-Compartment Door - Cutout Panels - Upper and Lower Corners

(1) Do a detailed inspection of the external surface of the cutout panels of the forward cargo-compartment door for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection at the upper and lower corners.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:

If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.

(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):

If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.

If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512300 for general data for paint layers.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-21-00-410-063-A

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
