A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the access platform is in position.
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is(are) in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the radar system.

C. Adjustment of the Rods
(1) Check the adjustment of the rods (4).
(2) If the rods (4) are not set correctly, adjust the rods (4).

D. Lubrication
(1) Lubricate the bolts and the ends of the rods (4) with the Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) .
4. Procedure(1) Lubricate the bolts and the ends of the rods (4) with the Synthetic Ester base Grease-General Purpose Low Temp - (Material No.03HBD9) .
Subtask 53-15-11-420-051-A
A. Installation of the Rods
(1) Install the adjusted rods (4) on the support (1).
(2) Install the bolt (2) with the head on the outer side of the aircraft.
(3) Install the nut (8).
(4) Tighten the nut (8).
(5) Install the AIPC 53-15-11-03-010 COTTER PIN (9).
(6) Put the rods (4) on the support of the fuselage.
(7) Install the bolt (3) with the head on the outer side of the aircraft.
If it is necessary, pull the heads of the rods to install the bolt (3) easily.
(8) Install the washer (5) and the nut (6).
(9) Tighten the nut (6).
(10) Install the AIPC 53-15-11-01-080 COTTER PIN (7) or AIPC 53-15-81-01-020 COTTER PIN (7).
Subtask 53-15-11-020-056-A (1) Install the adjusted rods (4) on the support (1).
(2) Install the bolt (2) with the head on the outer side of the aircraft.
(3) Install the nut (8).
(4) Tighten the nut (8).
(5) Install the AIPC 53-15-11-03-010 COTTER PIN (9).
(6) Put the rods (4) on the support of the fuselage.
(7) Install the bolt (3) with the head on the outer side of the aircraft.
If it is necessary, pull the heads of the rods to install the bolt (3) easily.
(8) Install the washer (5) and the nut (6).
(9) Tighten the nut (6).
(10) Install the AIPC 53-15-11-01-080 COTTER PIN (7) or AIPC 53-15-81-01-020 COTTER PIN (7).
B. Removal of the Sling-Radome
(1) Loosen SLING-RADOME (42) and remove it from the radome (10).
(2) Remove the lifting equipment.
Subtask 53-15-11-720-051-A (1) Loosen SLING-RADOME (42) and remove it from the radome (10).
(2) Remove the lifting equipment.
C. Functionnal Test
(1) Fully open the radome (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the radome is locked correctly:
(a) The bush (13) is in the maximum low position.
(b) The painted red ring is not in view.
(3) Close the radome (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
5. Close-up(1) Fully open the radome (10) (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-010-001).
(2) Make sure that the radome is locked correctly:
(a) The bush (13) is in the maximum low position.
(b) The painted red ring is not in view.
(3) Close the radome (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-410-001).

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Close Access
(1) Remove the plastic bag from the radome.
(2) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
(3) Close the radome (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
