B. Get Access

WARNING: DO NOT OPEN THE RADOME IF THE WIND SPEED IS MORE THAN 25 KNOTS.

(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position in the zone 110 in front of the radome.
(2) In the cockpit, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on the center pedestal to tell persons not to operate the radar system.
(3) Open the radome (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-010-001).

NOTE: The removal procedure is the same for each fitting.

(1) Remove the nuts (63) and the bolts (61).
(2) Remove the arrestor pick-up fitting (62).
