NOTE: For paints and coatings, this procedure uses Material No. 04PAF8 (Polyurethane Coating - Non Slip Floor) as an alternative to Material No. 05TBA1 (Adhesive Tape - Slip Resistant).

A. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position.
   (2) Open the passenger/crew door 831 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
4. Procedure

A. Repair Procedure
   (1) Apply TAPE - MASKING to the adjacent area which you will not rub with the CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 320).
   (2) Lightly rub the contact surface of the floor panel 221FF ( 222FF) with CLOTH-EMERY (GRADE 320) or finer to remove the external anti-slip top layer. Do not cause damage to the basic primer.
   (3) Clean the surface with a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) or Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Isopropyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBD1) or Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
   (4) Remove the TAPE - MASKING.
   (5) Do an inspection for damaged paint in the areas that had TAPE - MASKING on them.
   (6) Let the surface dry for 30 minutes.
   (7) Apply the TAPE - MASKING on adjacent areas if required.
   (8) Mix Polyurethane Coating-- Non Slip Floor (Material No.04PAF8) according to manufacturer's instructions.
   (9) Apply 6 coats of Polyurethane Coating-- Non Slip Floor (Material No.04PAF8) to obtain a maximum of 150-micrometer dry film thickness.
   (10) Remove the TAPE - MASKING.
   (11) Let the coating dry according to manufacturer's instructions.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the passenger/crew door 831 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
