3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-11-00-010-152-A
A. Get Access
   (1) Open the sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-010-001).
   (2) Remove the windshield sunvisor (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-11-000-001).
   (3) Remove lining panels 211NW( 212NW), 211BC( 212BC) and 211KC( 212KC) to get access to the inspection area.
   (4) Remove outlet assembly panel 211LC( 212LC) to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-806).
   (5) If the supports (1) and (5) are installed, and if necessary, remove them as follows:
     (a) Remove the bolts (2) and the support (1).
     (b) Remove the nuts (3), the screws (4) and the support (5).

B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) If sealant or paint is applied on the inspection area:
  • Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC, and/or
  • Remove the paint.
   (4) Remove the fasteners to examine the holes SRM 514200.
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-11-00-280-053-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the internal side of the left and right upper attachments of the windshield side post at FR4. Do this for damage and discontinuities NTM 531135.
   (2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
     (a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage types, classification and corrective action.

B. Installation of the Fasteners
   (1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
   (2) Install the fasteners in the examined holes SRM 514200.
Subtask 53-11-00-390-061-A
C. Sealant or Paint Application
   (1) If the NTM procedure told you to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) If you removed the supports (1) and (5), install them again:
     (a) Put the support (1) in position and install the bolts (2).
     (b) Put the support (5) in position and install the screws (4) and the nuts (3).
     (c) Tighten the nuts (3).
   (3) Install outlet assembly panel 211LC( 212LC) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-805).
   (4) Install lining panels 211BC( 212BC), 211KC( 212KC) and 211NW( 212NW).
   (5) Install the windshield sunvisor (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-11-400-001).
   (6) Close the sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-410-001).
