Subtask 53-11-00-010-140-A
A. Get Access
(1) Open the cockpit sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-010-001).
(2) Remove lining panel 211PW:
(a) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (2).
(b) Loosen the fastener (1).
(c) Remove lining panel 211PW.
Subtask 53-11-00-110-158-A (1) Open the cockpit sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-010-001).
(2) Remove lining panel 211PW:
(a) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (2).
(b) Loosen the fastener (1).
(c) Remove lining panel 211PW.
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Nondestructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
Subtask 53-11-00-250-076-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the internal side of the four horizontal stiffeners at the lower attachment of the windshield side post. Do this inspection for damage or discontinuities on the left side at FR 4 NTM 531136.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-11-00-916-084-A (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the internal side of the four horizontal stiffeners at the lower attachment of the windshield side post. Do this inspection for damage or discontinuities on the left side at FR 4 NTM 531136.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant ( SRM 512400) or paint ( SRM 512300) on the inspection area.
5. Close-up(1) If the NTM procedure asked to remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant ( SRM 512400) or paint ( SRM 512300) on the inspection area.
Subtask 53-11-00-410-139-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install lining panel 211PW:
(a) Put lining panel 211PW in position.
(b) Tighten the fastener (1).
(c) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(d) Tighten the screws (3).
(3) Close the cockpit sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-410-001).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install lining panel 211PW:
(a) Put lining panel 211PW in position.
(b) Tighten the fastener (1).
(c) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(d) Tighten the screws (3).
(3) Close the cockpit sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-410-001).
