Subtask 53-11-00-010-148-A
A. Get Access
(1) Remove the applicable ceiling panels between FR15 and FR21 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(2) Remove the applicable door frame linings at FR16 and FR20 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-005).
(3) Remove the galleys and the lavatories at FR16 and FR20, if installed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
(4) Remove the applicable insulation blankets at FR16 and FR20 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 53-11-00-110-148-A (1) Remove the applicable ceiling panels between FR15 and FR21 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
(2) Remove the applicable door frame linings at FR16 and FR20 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-005).
(3) Remove the galleys and the lavatories at FR16 and FR20, if installed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
- For the galleys: (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00)
- For the lavatories: (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00).
(4) Remove the applicable insulation blankets at FR16 and FR20 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-11-00-220-101-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of left and right intercostal fittings 1 of the forward passenger/crew-door cutout. Do this inspection between FR15 and FR16 and between FR20 and FR21, for damage and discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-11-00-916-082-A (1) Do a detailed inspection of left and right intercostal fittings 1 of the forward passenger/crew-door cutout. Do this inspection between FR15 and FR16 and between FR20 and FR21, for damage and discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If the TPS was removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If the TPS was not removed at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound-Water Displacing & Heavy Duty Hard Film - (Material No.12ADB1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets at FR16 and FR20 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the galleys and the lavatories at FR16 and FR20, if removed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
(4) Install the removed door frame linings at FR16 and FR20 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-006) and (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-007).
(5) Install the removed ceiling panels between FR15 and FR21 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the removed insulation blankets at FR16 and FR20 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the galleys and the lavatories at FR16 and FR20, if removed. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation:
