A. Get Access
(1) Open the sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-010-001).
(2) Remove lining panel 211PW ( 212PW).
(a) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (2).
(b) Loosen the fastener (1).
(c) Remove lining panel 211PW ( 212PW).
(3) Remove the windshield (Ref. AMM TASK 56-11-11-000-001).
Subtask 53-11-00-110-134-B (1) Open the sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-010-001).
(2) Remove lining panel 211PW ( 212PW).
(a) Remove the screws (3) and the washers (2).
(b) Loosen the fastener (1).
(c) Remove lining panel 211PW ( 212PW).
(3) Remove the windshield (Ref. AMM TASK 56-11-11-000-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the nuts from the five fasteners to inspect for the probe access.
(4) Remove the brackets of holes 3 and 4 ( SRM 514200).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the nuts from the five fasteners to inspect for the probe access.
(4) Remove the brackets of holes 3 and 4 ( SRM 514200).
Subtask 53-11-00-250-062-B
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection (HFEC) of the internal side of the window frame at FR4 lower forward corners for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection on the left and right sides. Refer to Non-destructive Testing Manual NTM 531130.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
Subtask 53-11-00-420-080-B (1) Do a special detailed inspection (HFEC) of the internal side of the window frame at FR4 lower forward corners for damage or discontinuities. Do this inspection on the left and right sides. Refer to Non-destructive Testing Manual NTM 531130.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion, refer to Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
- If you find this type of damage, refer to Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.
B. Installation of the Components
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes ( SRM 514200).
5. Close-up(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the fasteners of the inspected holes ( SRM 514200).
Subtask 53-11-00-410-115-B
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the windshield (Ref. AMM TASK 56-11-11-400-001)
(3) Install the lining panel 211PW ( 212PW). To do this:
(a) Put the lining panel 211PW ( 212PW) in position.
(b) Tighten the fastener (1).
(c) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(d) Tighten the screws (3).
(4) Close the sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-410-001).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the windshield (Ref. AMM TASK 56-11-11-400-001)
(3) Install the lining panel 211PW ( 212PW). To do this:
(a) Put the lining panel 211PW ( 212PW) in position.
(b) Tighten the fastener (1).
(c) Install the washers (2) and the screws (3).
(d) Tighten the screws (3).
(4) Close the sliding window (Ref. AMM TASK 56-12-11-410-001).
