Subtask 53-11-00-010-113-A

A. Get Access
(1) Remove the coat stowage, if installed. (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-46-000-001).
(2) Remove the necessary cockpit sidewall panels at FR 11 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-002).

B. Removal of the Components
(1) Remove the necessary insulation blankets at FR 11 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).

C. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-11-00-250-060-A

A. Inspection

Inspection of the Lateral Splicing at FR 11

(1) Do a special detailed inspection of the structure of the splices at FR 11, on the left and right sides, for damage or discontinuities. Refer to Non-destructive Testing Manual ( NTM 531127).
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:

If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.

(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):

If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage types, classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up

A. Installation of the Components
(1) Install the insulation blankets at FR 11 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).

B. Close Access
(1) Install the cockpit sidewall panels at FR 11 (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-002).
(2) Install the coat stowage, if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-46-400-001).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
