3. Job Set-up
Subtask 53-11-00-010-110-A

A. Get Access
(1) Open NLG bay main-door 713 ( 714) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 123.

B. Preparation of the Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Remove the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area if this is necessary for the Non-destructive Testing Manual (NTM) task.
(4) Remove the fasteners from the holes that you must examine ( SRM 514200).

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-11-00-220-096-A

A. Inspection

Holes at Forward Corners of NLG Bay, FR 9

(1) Do a special detailed inspection (ROTO) of the holes at the forward corners of the NLG Bay at FR9 for damage or discontinuities. Refer to NTM 531108.
(2) Make a report of the damage after the NTM inspection:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 512200) for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual ( SRM 511100) for damage classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-11-00-420-070-A

A. Installation of the Component
(1) Install the fasteners of the examined holes. Refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 514200.
(2) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
(3) Close NLG bay main-door 713 ( 714) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
