(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the ”Preparation of the Inspection Area” paragraph, do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer ( (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001)) and make the decision to apply a new TPS layer or not.
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of TPS ( (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001)).

A. Get Access
(1) Remove the panels from the cockpit windows:
(a) Remove sidewall panels 211GW, 212GW, 211LW and 212KW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-002).
(b) Remove ceiling panels 211AC, 212AC, 211DW, 212DW, 211KC, 212KC, 211NW, 212NW, 211PW, 212PW and 211MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-001).
(c) Remove outlet assembly panels 211LC and 212LC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-806).
(d) Remove access panel assembly 211MC and the standby compass (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-23-000-001).
(2) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
Subtask 53-11-00-110-095-A (1) Remove the panels from the cockpit windows:
(a) Remove sidewall panels 211GW, 212GW, 211LW and 212KW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-002).
(b) Remove ceiling panels 211AC, 212AC, 211DW, 212DW, 211KC, 212KC, 211NW, 212NW, 211PW, 212PW and 211MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-001).
(c) Remove outlet assembly panels 211LC and 212LC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-806).
(d) Remove access panel assembly 211MC and the standby compass (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-23-000-001).
(2) Remove the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).

A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the cockpit window frames and closing panels (FR12 and forward) in the internal structure for damage and discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51110001 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-11-00-916-096-A (1) Do a detailed inspection of the cockpit window frames and closing panels (FR12 and forward) in the internal structure for damage and discontinuities.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion:
If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.

CAUTION:
DO NOT APPLY TEMPORARY PROTECTION SYSTEM (TPS) TYPE 3 ON THE MOVABLE COMPONENTS. USE ONLY TPS TYPE 1 GRADE 2. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, THE MECHANISMS WILL NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY.
B. Check and Application of the TPS LayerNOTE: There is no special requirement about the TPS layer application in this area. The operator can apply TPS or let the surface stay without protection.
(1) If you removed the TPS at the ”Preparation of the Inspection Area” paragraph, and you make the decision to apply a TPS layer, ( (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001)).(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the ”Preparation of the Inspection Area” paragraph, do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer ( (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001)) and make the decision to apply a new TPS layer or not.
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of TPS ( (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001)).

A. Close Access
(1) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(2) Install the panels around the cockpit windows:
(a) Install sidewall panels 211GW, 212GW, 211LW and 212KW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-002).
(b) Install ceiling panels 211AC, 212AC, 211DW, 212DW, 211KC, 212KC, 211NW, 212NW, 211PW, 212PW and 211MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-001).
(c) Install outlet assembly panels 211LC and 212LC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-805).
(d) Install access panel assembly 211MC and the standby compass (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-23-400-001).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(1) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(2) Install the panels around the cockpit windows:
(a) Install sidewall panels 211GW, 212GW, 211LW and 212KW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-002).
(b) Install ceiling panels 211AC, 212AC, 211DW, 212DW, 211KC, 212KC, 211NW, 212NW, 211PW, 212PW and 211MW (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-001).
(c) Install outlet assembly panels 211LC and 212LC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-805).
(d) Install access panel assembly 211MC and the standby compass (Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-23-400-001).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
