Subtask 53-11-00-020-056-A
A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE at zone 831 (841).
(2) Open the forward passenger/crew door 831 (841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the scuff plates (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-15-000-001) of the forward passenger/crew doors.
Subtask 53-11-00-110-093-A (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE at zone 831 (841).
(2) Open the forward passenger/crew door 831 (841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) Remove the scuff plates (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-15-000-001) of the forward passenger/crew doors.
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If it is not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that there is no Temporary Protection System (TPS) layer and if there is a TPS layer, remove it (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If it is not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) Make sure that there is no Temporary Protection System (TPS) layer and if there is a TPS layer, remove it (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-11-00-220-058-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a detailed inspection of the structure of the forward passenger/crew door cutout left and right sides . This inspection is applicable below the scuff plate.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find other damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51110001 for damage classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up(1) Do a detailed inspection of the structure of the forward passenger/crew door cutout left and right sides . This inspection is applicable below the scuff plate.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find other damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51110001 for damage classification and corrective action.
Subtask 53-11-00-420-054-A
A. Close Access
(1) Install the scuff plates (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-15-400-001) of the forward passenger/crew doors.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the forward passenger/crew door 831 (841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Install the scuff plates (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-15-400-001) of the forward passenger/crew doors.
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close the forward passenger/crew door 831 (841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
