A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position at the left and right, aft and forward passenger/crew door.
(2) Open the door 831 832 841 842, (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-11-00-110-050-A

A. Cleaning
(1) Clean the girt-bar fitting stop-levers and their adjacent areas with a VACUUM CLEANER to remove the dirt and dust in these areas.

NOTE: Do not apply grease on the cleaned area.

B. Test

Girt Bar Fitting

(1) Press the lever (1) down and release it to do an operational test.
(2) Make sure that the lever (1) comes up quickly.
(3) If the operational test is unsatisfactory:
(a) Clean the lever (1) with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(b) Press the lever (1) down again and release it to do the operational test again.
(4) If the operational test is again unsatisfactory:
(a) Remove the girt bar fitting (Ref. AMM TASK 52-11-31-000-003) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-13-31-000-003)
(b) Clean all the components
(c) Install the girt bar fitting (Ref. AMM TASK 52-11-31-400-003) or (Ref. AMM TASK 52-13-31-400-003)

5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the door 831 832 841 842, (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
