Subtask 53-11-00-010-065-A
A. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position in front of passenger/crew door 831 ( 841).
(2) Open passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) If the galleys and the lavatories between FR15 and FR16 are installed, remove them. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation: for the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00), for the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00). In the related paragraph, you will find the cross-references of the applicable removal/installation tasks.
(4) Remove the necessary lining panels at FR16 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-005) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002).
(5) Remove the necessary insulation blankets to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(6) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
Subtask 53-11-00-110-074-A (1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position in front of passenger/crew door 831 ( 841).
(2) Open passenger/crew door 831 ( 841) (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-010-001).
(3) If the galleys and the lavatories between FR15 and FR16 are installed, remove them. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation: for the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00), for the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00). In the related paragraph, you will find the cross-references of the applicable removal/installation tasks.
(4) Remove the necessary lining panels at FR16 to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-005) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-000-002).
(5) Remove the necessary insulation blankets to get access to the inspection area (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
(6) Put on and attach the HARNESS, SAFETY before you start work in the work area.
B. Preparation of the Inspection Area
(1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If the inspection area is not sufficiently clean, clean it with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(4) If sealant or paint is applied on the inspection area:
Subtask 53-11-00-020-061-A (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
(2) If the inspection area is not sufficiently clean, clean it with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
(3) If there is a TPS layer and if it does not let you do a satisfactory inspection, remove the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(4) If sealant or paint is applied on the inspection area:
- Remove the sealant with the SCRAPER - NON METALLIC
- Remove the paint.
C. Removal of the Components
(1) Remove the threaded pins (HI-LITE) (1) and the nuts (2). Refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 514200.

Subtask 53-11-00-250-054-A
A. Inspection
(1) Do a special detailed inspection of door FR16, for damage or discontinuities. This inspection includes the double joggle area in the outer flange of the frame (at door stops number 1 and 7). Do this inspection on the left and right sides NTM 531153.
(2) Refer to the NTM inspection report and do the applicable step:
(a) Corrosion:
Subtask 53-11-00-250-072-A (1) Do a special detailed inspection of door FR16, for damage or discontinuities. This inspection includes the double joggle area in the outer flange of the frame (at door stops number 1 and 7). Do this inspection on the left and right sides NTM 531153.
(2) Refer to the NTM inspection report and do the applicable step:
(a) Corrosion:
- If you find corrosion, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for the corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
- If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage types, classification and corrective action.

Subtask 53-11-00-420-059-A C. Installation of the Components
(1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the threaded pins (HI-LITE) (1) and the new nuts (2). Refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 514200.
(3) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) around the threaded pins (HI-LITE) (1) and the nuts (2).
Subtask 53-11-00-390-051-A (1) Refer to the installation drawing in the SRM identification section for the new fastener references.
(2) Install the threaded pins (HI-LITE) (1) and the new nuts (2). Refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 514200.
(3) Apply a bead of Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Interfay - (Material No.06AAC1) around the threaded pins (HI-LITE) (1) and the nuts (2).
D. Sealant or Paint Application
(1) If you removed the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.
Subtask 53-11-00-916-075-A (1) If you removed the sealant and/or paint from the inspection area, apply sealant SRM 512400 or paint SRM 512300 on the inspection area.
E. Check and Application of the TPS Layer
(1) If you removed the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
5. Close-up(1) If you removed the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(2) If you did not remove the TPS at the "Preparation of the Inspection Area", do a check of the condition and integrity of the TPS layer (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
(3) If the TPS layer has local damage, remove the damaged TPS layer and apply a new layer of Corrosion Preventive Compound_Water Displacing Soft Film - (Material No.12ABC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 51-78-00-916-001).
Subtask 53-11-00-410-065-A
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the lining panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-006) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-007).
(4) If you removed the FWD galleys and lavatories between FR15 and FR16, install them. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation: for the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00), for the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00). In the related paragraph, you will find the cross-references of the applicable removal/installation tasks.
(5) Close passenger/crew door 831 or 841 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the insulation blankets (Ref. AMM TASK 25-80-00-400-001).
(3) Install the lining panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-006) (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-45-400-007).
(4) If you removed the FWD galleys and lavatories between FR15 and FR16, install them. To do this, refer to the paragraph Component Location in the applicable ATA 25 Description/Operation: for the galleys (Ref. AMM D/O 25-31-00-00), for the lavatories (Ref. AMM D/O 25-41-00-00). In the related paragraph, you will find the cross-references of the applicable removal/installation tasks.
(5) Close passenger/crew door 831 or 841 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-10-00-410-001).
(6) Remove the access platform(s).
