A. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position in zone 824.
   (2) Open the lateral avionics-compartment door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
Subtask 53-11-00-020-060-A
B. Removal of the Components
   (1) Remove the two quick-release pins (1) and lift and remove the ladder (2), if installed.
   (2) Remove the ADIRU (Air Data/Inertial Reference Unit), if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-000-001).
   (3) Remove the ADIRU mount, if necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-51-000-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-51-000-802).
   (4) Remove the applicable floor panel (4) in the avionics compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 53-12-13-000-001).

C. Cleaning of the Structure
   (1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.
4. Procedure
Subtask 53-11-00-220-085-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of:
- The continuity fitting (1) between FR20 and FR21
- The angle fitting (2) on the two sides of FR21, at STGR41, left and right sides.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
- If you find other damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for damage classification and corrective action.

A. Installation of the Components
   (1) Install the applicable floor panel (4) in the avionics compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 53-12-13-400-001).
   (2) Install the ADIRU mount, if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-51-400-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-51-400-802).
   (3) Install the ADIRU, if removed (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-400-001).
   (4) Install the ladder (2) on the floor fittings (3), if removed, and install the two quick-release pins (1).

B. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the lateral avionics-compartment door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
