Subtask 53-11-00-010-060-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at zone 824.
(2) Open the lateral avionics-compartment door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

B. Removal of the Components

NLG Well - Rear Panel Aft Face - Lower Corners

(1) Remove the two quick-release pins (1) and lift and remove the ladder (2), if necessary.
(2) Remove the necessary floor panel (4) of the avionics compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 53-12-13-000-001).

C. Cleaning of the Structure
(1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-11-00-220-082-A

A. Inspection

NLG Well - Rear Panel Aft Face - Lower Corners

(1) Do a detailed inspection of the structure of the NLG well. This inspection is applicable to the rear panel aft face, lower corners, left and right sides.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) Corrosion damage:
- If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for types of corrosion, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps,...):
- If you find other damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51110001 for damage classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-11-00-420-057-A

A. Installation of the Components

NLG Well - Rear Panel Aft Face - Lower Corners

(1) Install the necessary floor panel (4) in the avionics compartment (Ref. AMM TASK 53-12-13-400-001).
(2) Install the ladder (2) on the floor fittings (3), if necessary, and install the two quick-release pins (1).

B. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the lateral avionics-compartment door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
