Subtask 53-11-00-010-052-A

A. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT) in position at the zone 110.
(2) Open the radome 110AL (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-010-001).
(3) Remove the wave guide assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-41-000-001).
(4) Remove the upper protection shield (Ref. AMM TASK 53-11-41-000-001).

B. Cleaning of the Structure
(1) Clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and a lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) , if necessary.

4. Procedure
Subtask 53-11-00-220-068-B

A. Inspection

Forward Face of the Forward Pressure Bulkhead

(1) Do a detailed inspection of the structure of the forward face of the pressure bulkhead. This inspection also includes the vertical angles, the horizontal stiffeners and the supports of the honeycomb panels.
(2) Make sure that there is no:
(a) corrosion damage:
if you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51220001 for types, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.
(b) other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps,...):
if you find other damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 51110001 for damage classification and corrective action.

5. Close-up
Subtask 53-11-00-410-052-A

A. Close Access
(1) Install the upper protective shield (Ref. AMM TASK 53-11-41-400-001).
(2) Install the wave guide assembly (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-41-400-001).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(4) Close the radome 110AL (Ref. AMM TASK 53-15-11-410-001).
(5) Remove the access platform(s).
