C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 5M (16 FT) in position.
(2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in the flight compartment to tell persons not to start the APU.

4. Procedure
Subtask 52-92-11-020-050-A

A. Removal of the Overpressure Release Door
(1) Loosen the nut (1) to release the pre-tension of the springs (6).
(2) Disconnect the connection link (13) from the overpressure release door (18) as follows:
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (9) from the pin (7) and collect the washer (8).
(b) Remove the pin (7) from the door bracket (12) and disconnect the the connection link (13) from the door bracket (12).
(3) Remove the nut (23), the washer (24), the bolt (26) and the bonding strap (27) from the bonding angle (25) of the door bracket (19).
(4) Remove the overpressure release door (18) as follows:
(a) Remove the screws (22) and the washers (21) to disconnect the door bracket (19) from the fuselage hinge bracket (20).
(b) Disassemble the overpressure release door (18) from the fuselage opening.
(5) If necessary, disassemble the spring linkage as follows:
(a) Remove the nut (1) and the washer (2) from the spring retainer (3) and disassemble it from the support bracket (23).
(b) Remove and discard the cotter pin (10) from the pin (4) and collect the washer (11).
(c) Remove the pin (4) from fuselage bracket (17) and disassemble the spring fitting (16).
(d) Remove and discard the cotter pin (15) from the pin (5) and collect the washer (14).
(e) Remove the pin (5) from the spring fitting (16) and disassemble the connection link (13).
(6) If necessary, disassemble the springs (6) from the the spring retainer (3) and the spring fitting (16).
