A. Get Access
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at zones 715 and 716.
   (2) Open the nose landing-gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).

B. Prepare the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If necessary, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and lint-free cotton cloth Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
4. Procedure
Subtask 52-82-00-220-052-A
A. Inspection
F NLG Aft Door Aft Fittings, LH/RH
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the aft fittings of the aft nose landing gear doors.
   (2) Make sure that there is no:
     (a) Corrosion damage :
  • If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 512200 for corrosion types, inspection, removal and subsequent corrosion protection.
     (b) Other damage (scratches, cracks, gouges, dents, creases):
  • If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual SRM 511100 for the damage types, classification and corrective action.
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close the nose landing-gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
