Subtask 52-81-00-941-058-A
A. Safety Precautions
   (1) Make sure that the ground lock sleeve is installed on the applicable MLG lockstay actuator (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-001).
   (2) Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the MLG and the MLG doors.
   (3) As necessary, use the applicable SAFETY BARRIERS, specified by the operator's instructions and your local regulations.

B. Get Access
   (1) Open the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ground lock sleeve is installed on the MLG door actuators (Ref. AMM TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
   (3) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position below the inspection area.

C. Preparation of the Inspection Area
   (1) Make sure that the inspection area is sufficiently clean to do a satisfactory inspection of the area.
   (2) If not, clean the inspection area with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) and the Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) .
   (3) Remove the sealant from the bolt of the forward fitting joint to the hinge fitting of the MLG door with a SCRAPER - NON METALLIC.
4. Procedure
Subtask 52-81-00-220-085-A
A. Inspection
   (1) Do a detailed inspection of the forward fitting joint to the hinge fitting of the MLG door for damage and discontinuities. Do this inspection on the left and right sides.
   (2) Make sure that:
  • The paint surface is in a good condition.
  • There are no cracks or distortion.
  • There is no wear or corrosion.
   (3) If damage is found:
     (a) Repair the applicable fittings SRM 528114 or
     (b) Replace the applicable fittings:
       1 Remove the MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-11-000-001).
       2 Send the MLG door to workshop.
       3 _Install a serviceable MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-11-400-001).
NOTE: If the necessary procedure is not included in the SRM, you must get a procedure from AIRBUS.
   (4) Apply Polysulfide Sealant-General Purpose Fillet - (Material No.06AAB1) to the bolt of the forward fitting joint to the hinge fitting of the MLG door.

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Remove the access platform(s).
   (3) Close the MLG doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).

B. Removal of Equipment
   (1) Remove the SAFETY BARRIER(S).
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
